This book unravels the themes of nature and technology with plenty to love and ponder!

WHY WE LOVE IT: 

Set in Afghanistan, the story is part of a trilogy ‘The Breadwinner series’. It tells the story of a girl’s struggle to survive when her Father is arrested by the Taliban. An inspiring read but not for the fainthearted! It promises to be eye-opening with fasinating cultural insights, shedding light on the fragility of human nature, bravery and hope.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

Set in the 1930s in an English boarding school, the girls solve fast paced mysteries with plenty of twists and red herrings to keep you on your toes. These mystery books are full of good stuff and will suit fans of Agatha Christie!
